Daisy had an amazing summer. I’m pretty sure that if you asked her she’d tell you it’s ending too soon. As the start of school gets closer (next week) she’s been reminiscing about her vacation (because frankly teaching these kids at home is no joke and it wears. her. out.) and asked if she could share her vacation pics with you. Of course I said yes.
First of all, she got a hat that was waaaaaay too small for her.
She had fun camping for a week at Rickett’s Glen State Park.
She visited Hackers Hill and posed for a few pictures.
Finally…the right one.
She swam, slept, ate, swam, watched over swimming children, waited for Jeremy to return on the canoe, rescued rocks from the water, and went fishing.
She got her first canoe ride and loved it!
She took this four generation picture with her humans.
She “ate” lobster for the first time. And by ate we mean licked the shell.
She visited Screw Auger Falls with her family and Pop and BFF Grandma.
She swam for HOURS at Wilson Lake, got served lots of treats from Grandma, made a trip to New York for a family reunion with Jeremy and camped at Knoebels for the first time. She had a weeklong sleepover with her other BFFs Heather and Steven, so her humans could go away without her. She hiked, celebrated the 4th of July and had lots of company.
Looks like Daisy had a pretty fantastic summer vacation! Now onto teaching these kids about life for the next 9 months….
