Photo Tour of our Perennial Garden-Early Spring Version

We’ve changed the design of our front garden from a basic rectangle to a bit of a curved look. The plants are new either from last summer or freshly planted just last week. I can’t wait to see what it looks like mid-August! There are some grasses, some ferns, some have begun to bloom, others are waiting for their moment.  We aren’t quite done with it, but isn’t that the joy of gardening? DSC_0427DSC_0428DSC_0429DSC_0430DSC_0431DSC_0439DSC_0440DSC_0445DSC_0435DSC_0434DSC_0436DSC_0441DSC_0448DSC_0442

I planted this grape vine three years ago and it didn’t grow, and had decided this would be my last year trying.  I was so happy when I walked to the backyard  just a couple of days ago and found this beautiful little bud along with some of it’s bud friends! #patienceDSC_0457
