White Bean Garlic Hummus-Recipe

DSC_0280.JPGThis is a quick, easy, frugal recipe for veggie, pita or chip dipping. I have seen this sort of thing around the internet lately and since we have a good amount of dried beans in our pantry I thought I’d give it a try and come up with my own recipe. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

2 cups prepared White Beans (I used homemade, home soaked, but beans from a can would work just as well)

5 cloves fresh garlic

1 tsp Black Pepper

1 tsp raw honey

2-4 TBSP Olive Oil

To Do: 

Place everything except the olive oil into a blender or Ninja. Begin to blend ingredients on Medium speed. Drizzle Olive Oil into blender, increase to high speed for about 4 minutes. The consistency should like a really thick milkshake. If you grab a spoonful of the hummus and turn it upside down it should stick to the spoon.
