Without Warning by Lynette Eason-book review

Without Warning by Lynette Eason is the second book in the series Elite Guardians. The first book in this series is Always Watching, the book I reviewed in the spring. When I finished that one, I couldn’t wait for the 2nd one. I wasn’t disappointed when it came out.

Here’s the summary:

Katie Singleton is looking forward to a long week of vacation and renovating her new home. But when she sees that Daniel Matthew’s restaurant has activity at it in the middle of the night, she stops and doesn’t get that vacation.

Daniel Matthews has 7 different restaurants, and another one burns down that same night. Daniel’s niece then hires Katie’s bodyguard agency to protect her uncle.

Even though her Katie and her coworkers are watching Daniel and his family 24/7, the attacker still finds ways to attack and not get caught. Will they be able to find the attacker before her kills anyone else? Or hurt anyone else?

This book started from the first page and did not stop until the last one. I didn’t want to put it down. It took me less than four days to finish it.

Daniel hasn’t spoken to God in a while, but he’s forced to rely on him to keep the people he cares about safe, he’ll learn that no matter how distant we become from Him, He never becomes distant from us. No matter how much we feel like He is.

Lynette Eason does a very good job of adding little things in at random times. But eventually, everything comes together to make the ending, everything from the little details to the big ones.

Again, I loved the ending but didn’t want the book to end.

I can’t wait for the next one to come out!
