Meal Plan 6/5-6/11

Sunday

Breakfast-donuts at church

Lunch-Girls ate at church; Jeremy and I spent a whole $16.49 on a lunch date at Greens, and wouldn’t you know…I had .95 left on a gift card that I forgot at home. Coulda been a date for under 15 bucks.

Dinner-Jeremy wanted to watch the NBA finals so he wanted some perogis to watch wtih the game. We also had turkey and cheese sandwiches and chips.

Monday

Breakfast: GF Pancakes, eggs

Lunch: A day off! Summer vacation! We’re all home! It’s hot outside! We went to the beach for the day! Turkey and cheese sandwiches, pb/celery, raw carrots and green peppers, chips, water. And of course ice cream at the beach, because why not.

Dinner: Easy Homemade Chili-this sounds counter intuitive after spending a hot day at the beach, but we had the cheese, veggies and tomatoes already and I wanted to use them up. With seven dollars left in my wallet I bought a package of ground beef, a small can of kidney beans, and a jar of spaghetti sauce. Plus I spent fitty cent on a box of mac and cheese for the one person in our family who refuses to eat chili. Anna.

Tuesday

Breakfast: Good luck to ya. Or oatmeal.

Lunch: Leftover chili or turkey and cheese sandwiches

Dinner: Taco Salads

Wednesday

Breakfast: J-Oatmeal; Girls-random

Lunch: leftovers

Dinner: Pot Roast, mashed potatoes, broccoli, baked carrots, applesauce, Whoopie Pie Cake w/ Peanut Butter Ice Cream

Thursday

Breakfast: each man for himself

Lunch: leftovers

Dinner: BBQ Chicken Legs, macaroni salad, watermelon, ice cream

Friday

Breakfast: Oatmeal, Fruit

Lunch: Leftovers

Dinner:  Cheesy Potatoes, Tossed Salad

Saturday

This was a semi-non-existent menu plan day…Jeremy was up and out of the house by 6 a.m., headed toward Philly and back home by 10 a.m. We had a small get together to celebrate Kaitlyn’s birthday at our house with guests coming at 1:00 (or 2:00 depending on what day I told everyone to come…oopsies….) and were preparing food for that, while we also watched a couple of kiddos for the day. With a church scheduled work day on the property and another friend coming at 9:00 to pick up VBS materials we had a very full day. Breakfast was “every man for himself”, lunch was burgers/dogs on the grill and all the fixins, potato salad, chips, fruit and drinks. The girls had a rehearsal at church at 4:30 and Jeremy is currently on his way back to toward Philly (8 p.m.) and will be back later. He grabbed a sandwich at Wawa for dinner. The rest of us are eating whatever might be left over from the afternoon.
