Fish and Chips!

About six weeks ago I bought a 5 lb box of frozen, fresh caught Haddock from our local meat market. We really like haddock, but given it’s price we don’t eat it all the time, maybe once every other week. So this box of fish has lasted us quite a while.

Jeremy makes us Dad’s Famous Chicken every so often and I wondered if he could do the same with fish, since we had quite a lot of it in the freezer. He found this recipe from Allrecipes for Classic Fish and Chips batter. Lord have mercy. This was sooooooo good! He made potato wedges to go with it and I picked up some coleslaw from our local restaurant right up the street-Greens Family Restaurant.  DSC_0295

Fish: follow this recipe from Allrecipes

Potato Wedges: slice whole potatoes into wedges. Drizzle with Olive Oil and sprinkle with sea salt. (add seasoning if you want). Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes, or until fork tender and crispy.

Coleslaw-we bought it from a local eatery.
