Baked Maple Brie Chicken-Recipe

In my meal planning this week I discovered we had a wheel of Brie we hadn’t used and needed to. I googled “Brie Recipes” and found this one for Baked Chicken and Brie. I substituted the beer or wine option for olive oil and maple syrup. I’m not a huge fan of Brie and wondered how the girls would like it. However, we all thought it was really, really good.

1 unfrozen, skinned chicken breast per person

maple syrup

1 wheel Brie

olive oil

To Do:

Place about 1/4 inch olive oil in the bottom of a baking dish.

Place chicken breasts in pan and drizzle with maple syrup. (I used truly a drizzle, but next time will use a lot more….maybe 1/8 cup)

Bake at 400 degress F until cooked and no longer pink.

Slice Brie into 1/4 inch slices. (you can leave the wrap on the Brie. For this recipe I cut both ends off and left the sides on) and place on cooked chicken.

Put back in the oven for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted to your liking.
