Perfect Pot Roast

Lately, almost every Monday night we have been having Pot Roast for dinner. I buy it fresh Monday morning or afternoon from the local meat market and get it right in the oven when I get home. It’s really yummy. And easy.

Step 1. Buy a fresh, not frozen 3-5 pound Chuck Roast. DSC_0238

Step 2. Sprinkle liberally with McCormick’s Montreal Steak Seasoning. DSC_0239

on one side….and then flip and sprinkle the other side.


Step 3. Cover and bake at 350 for 2-3 hours.


Step 4. When it’s done it’ll look like this….let it cool for about 10 minutes. It should pull apart easily with two forks.


Serve it with mashed potatoes and veggies.
