How to bake a turkey: from Butterball (and they should be the experts right?!)

Our favorite way to eat leftovers? Grab a frying pan, put a bunch of butter and a little of everything else….turkey, corn, string beans, peas, potato….and fry it all until it’s warm. There are few things better in the world than this. Serve it with cold cranberry sauce and applesauce. Perfection.

Some other Recipes:

Mashed Potatoes: Wash, cube and boil until fork tender 12 medium sized potatoes. When fork tender drain completely. Add 1/4 cup milk and 1/2 stick butter, salt and white pepper to taste. Mash well or place in mixing bowl and mix until smooth.

Corn: Boil 2 cans or 2 cups corn until warm, add 1 cup milk and 1/2 stick butter.

Pineapple Pie:

Mix together: 1 large can crushed pineapple ( don’t drain), 1/4 tsp. salt , 1 Tbsp. flour, 1/4 C. cold water, 1 egg, 3/4 C. white sugar. Pour all into a double pie crust. Bake at 475 for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes shut oven off and keep pie in oven for 30-45 minutes.
