30 Days of Fall-Day 18- Candied Almonds

I. Heart. Candied. Almonds.

That’s all I need to say.

Except that you should heart them too.

Here’s a recipe that will seriously take hardly any time to make.

1 Cup whole, shelled almonds

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup water

1/4 tbsp ground cinnamon

To Do:

  1. Place water, sugar and cinnamon in kettle. Stir.

DSC_01303. Add almonds.

DSC_01314. Mix well.

5. Let cook for 5 minutes.

6. After 5 minutes place almonds and sugar mixture on a baking pan. Either spray with non-stick spray or use parchment paper. Otherwise, it’s a hot sticky mess.

7. Bake almonds on 350 for about 10 minutes.

8. After 10 minutes remove from the oven and let them cool entirely before eating.

  1. Okay, I thought we could be friends but then you did a recipe for candied almonds. Did I mention how much I love almonds but now I’m doing the DASH Diet and can’t eat all that sugar. So I’ll just sit here drooling on my computer. BTW thanks for linking up to Frugal Friday!
